目的で本研究を実施した。1年次のプロセスレコードを分析した結果,用いられていたコミュニケーションスキルは,閉鎖的な質問と反射的に投げ返すの2種類が多くを占めた。2年次のプロセスレコードを分析した結果では,閉鎖的な質問と反射的に投げ返すの2種類に加えて,誘導的な質問言外の意味を言語化するというスキルを用いることができていた。さらに3～4種類の技法を用いてコミュニケーションを行っており,指導効果が認められた。

When the patients were divided into two groups consisting of a group in which blood pressure readings determined by doctors were obviously higher than those by nurses and a group in which readings by doctors were the same as those by nurses, personality differences were noted. The scores for depression, inferiority feelings, lack of objectivity and lack of cooperativeness were significantly higher in the former group. These results suggest that the hypertensive patients showing marked increase in blood pressure during the doctor's examination have specific personality types. We need to vary care strategies for patients according to the their individual personality types.

student nurses were surveyed. The purpose was to present some basic data for the improvment of nursing education. The results of the survey showed: (1) Eighty percent of the subjects were engaged in housework in their homes. The remaining 20% were at low levels of independence. (2) There was no correlation between the subjects' attitudes toward the high school housekeeping course and the degree of their involvement in the houswork.
