想定された．X年頚動脈内膜剥離術（CEA）を施行した．術後画像上の過灌流現象を認めたが，厳重な降圧療法を行い自覚症状なく術後17日退院した．その後外来にて降圧療法を継続したが，術後29日全身性痙攣および著明な高血圧をきたした．遅発性過灌流症候群と診断し，厳重な降圧療法を再開した．数日で症状は軽快したが厳重な降圧療法は退院まで緩めず，後遺症なく術後44日自宅退院した．慢性的な血行力学的脳虚血にさらされていたことが想定される症例は，CEA後降圧療法により過灌流現象が一旦改善しても術後4週間以上にわたり過灌流症候群を発症するリスクがあり充分な注意が必要である．

physical examination and questionnaire during home visits to 85 women, 18 to 20 years after the onset of disease. The results were as follows: 1. Subjects who had not visited the hospital during the first postpartum month accounted for 50.6% of the total. 2. The survey of health of the 85 subjects 18 to 20 years after the onset of toxemia revealed hypertension in 25 (29.4%), renal disease in 3 (3.5%), cardiac disease in 3 (3.5%), diabetes mellitus in 3 (3.5%) and other diseaes in 9 (10.5%). The prevalence of hypertension was significantly higher in these subjects than in the general population of women of the same age. 3. Of the 25 subjects (29.4%) with an obesity level of more than +20, 13 (52.0%) had hypertension. The above results indicate the necessity of long-term continuing health care for women with a past history of toxemia of pregnancy.
