概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />In this paper, we investigate a design method for multi-period repetitive controllers for nonminimum phase systems. Multi-period repetitive controllers were proposed by Gotou et al. in order to improve the disturbance attenuation characteristics of conventional repetitive control systems. Yamada et al. proposed a design method of multi-period repetitive controllers to attenuate widefrequency disturbances based on the idea of changing time-delay. Steinbuch proposed a design method of multi-period repetitive controllers for systems with uncertain period time. In this way, several design methods for multi-period repetitive controllers have been proposed. However, the parametrization of all stabilizing multi-period repetitive controllers has not been considered yet. In this paper, we propose the parametrization of all stabilizing multi-period repetitive controllers. 概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />Raman scattering technique with KrF excimer laser was applied to obtain a fuel concentration distribution in a sooting flame. In the case of sooting flame, fluorescence from polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) and laser-induced incandescence (LII) from soot particles appeared with Raman scattering. These background emissions overlappped on the Raman scattering. In order to separate the Raman scattering and the background emissions, polarization property of laser-induced emissions was utilized. Since the background emissions were depolarized whereas the Raman scattering was highly polarized, it is possible to subtract the background emissions from the overlapping signal of the Raman scattering and the background emissions. Subtracting the emission signals for the electric vector of the laser light perpendicular and parallel to the direction of observation allows to extract the precise Raman signals. By using this technique, detailed fuel concentration distribution in sooting flames could be obtained based on Raman scattering. 続きを見る

We obtain the parametrization of all stabilizing modified repetitive controllers for timedelay systems using the fusion of the structure of repetitive controllers and the factorization of time-delay plant into the time-delay part and the rational function part. A design method of stabilizing modified repetitive controllers using the obtained parametrization is presented. 概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />In the present paper, we give the parametrization of all stabilizing modified repetitive controllers for non-minimum phase systems. The basic idea to obtain the parametrization of all modified repetitive controllers for non-minimum phase systems is very simple. If the repetitive controller stabilizes the plant, then the repetitive controller must be included in the class of all stabilizing controllers for the plant. The parametrization of all stabilizing controllers for the plant, which is not necessarily repetitive controllers, are obtained by Youla et al. and Vidyasagar. The parametrization of all stabilizing controllers includes a free parameter, which is stable. That is, stabilizing repetitive controllers for non-minimum phase systems can be designed using the free parameter in the parametrization by Youla et al. and Vidyasagar. Using this idea, we obtain the parametrization of all stabilizing modified repetitive controllers for non-minimum phase systems. 概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />Laser induced fluorescence (LIF) method was applied to the measurement of PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons) in a propane diffusion flame. Various PAHs were excited by a KrF excimer laser and a dye-laser pumped by the XeF excimer laser. By measuring the enission spectra of various PAHs vapors, it was found that the peak wavelength in the emission spectrom of LIF shifted to the longer wavelength side with an increase of PAHs carbon numbers. The carbon numbers of PAHs in a diffusion flame was presumed from the data of peak wavelength of emission spectrum. It was confirmed that the carbon numbers of PAHs in the diffusion flame increased as approaching to the flame surface. The maximum carbon number was about 26 at the layer close to the flame surface. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />In this paper, separation of laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) due to PAHs and incandescence (LII) due to soot by time-resolved measurement was demonstrated for the propane diffusion flame. Laser-induced fluorescence method for the measurement of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in diffusion flame was developed. A KrF excimer laser was used for excite the PAHs. Strong laser-induced incandescence due to soot was appeared with fluorescence signal due to PAHs. In order to separate the signals into LII and the PAHs-LIF detected from diffusion flame, time-resolved measurement was carried out. A pico-second gate CCD camera with a image intensifier was used taking a time-resolved image. From the two different images, which were taken at different time-delay, PAHs-LIF and LII were obtained. Intensity distributions of PAHs-LIF and LII were measured on the flame axis. Overlap region of the LIF and LII was observed around the onset position of the yellow flame. In this region, LIF intensity decreased and LII intensity increased along the flow direction. It seemed that this region was transition region from the PAHs to soot and was attributed the presence of soot precursor. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />In the present paper, we examine a design for repetitive control systems with multi-period repetitive compensator. The repetitive control system is a type of servomechanisms for periodic signal. The repetitive control system is a neutral type of time delay system and can not apply for strictly proper plants. Almost all plants are strictly proper. Several modifications of repetitive control system for strictly proper plants are proposed. One of them, it is well known that the modified repetitive control is easy to apply for strictly proper plants. Sugimoto and Washida point out that if time-delay is settled to cancel the phase angle of low-pass filter in the repetitive compensator, then the disturbance attenuation characteristics is improved. However, the method by Sugimoto and Washida improve the disturbance attenuation characteristics in only low frequency range. Generally, the disturbance includes variable frequency signals. In this paper, in order to attenuate the disturbance with higher frequency range, we overcome this problem and propose a design method for repetitive control systems with multi-period repetitive compensator. 概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />In the present paper, we give explicit parametrization of all causal stabilizing repetitive controllers for single-input/single-output continuous time certain class of non-minimum phase systems. The parametrization of all causal stabilizing repetitive controllers was first studied by Hara and Yamamoto. Katoh and Funahashi give the parametrization for the class of all stabilizing repetitive controllers for minimum phase biproper plants by solving the Bezout equation explicitly. However, Katoh and Funahashi assumed the plant is asymptotically stable. Using parallel compensation technique, Yamada and Okuyama gave explicit parametrization of all repetitive controllers for minimum phase systems that is not necessarily stable. We expand the result by Yamada and Okuyama and give the parametrization of all causal stabilizing controllers for certain class of non-minimum phase systems. Finally, a numerical example is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. 続きを見る
