概要: I created a source-code-based teaching material that can display the cross-sectional shape of the atomic orbital at the z, x plane in three different ways (contour display, grid point method, and stippling method). The atomic orbital formula defined as the product of the radial wave function and the spherical harmonic function of which the complex function part being taken as the absolute value gives the shape as a rotating body around the z axis. The contour display gives a visual index of the degree of the spread of the electron cloud. The sizes of various atomic orbitals mainly change with the main quantum number, but even if the azimuthal quantum number changes, there is not so large difference in size as seen in the radial wave function nor in the radial distribution function. On the other hand, the spread of the spherical electron cloud of closed or semi-closed shell structure (i.e. composed of all the orbit set whose azimuth quantum number is 2 or more, such as px, py and pz, being filled with electrons) coincides with the spread of the radial wave function. By using this teaching material, it is possible to display the shape of a certain hybrid orbital by specifying it as a linear combination of atomic orbitals. In this teaching material also includes a new method of displaying the spherical harmonic function, with filled circles, of their diameters proportional to the absolute value of the function, on the same circumference. The displayed result with this method gives an image closer to the actual atomic orbital shape than the polar plot of the spherical harmonic function. 続きを見る

概要: We propose a system to support fighting game beginners. This system points failures of the beginner’s playing and instru cts reform measures. In addition, this system replays scenes the beginner failed and offers chances to try the scene again. We conducted a simple experient with the prototype system. We had some testers play the prototype system who have answered two questionnaires. We got high praise to proposed method, but we could not get high praise to the prototype system. 概要: X-ray diffraction method is very powerful as a method for evaluating ceramic materials. This is a particularly effective methodfor analyzing the crystal structure of crystalline substances. Most of the purposes can be achieved by using the software attached to the measuring device. Even beginners who are not familiar with the evaluation of materials by the X-ray diffraction method can easily analyze the measurement data by referring to the database. These software can be used with confidence even by beginners, and it seems that they are widely used in the actual field of ceramic material research and development, including experts. Software and measuring equipment that even beginners can use with peace of mind are convenient, but they also becomeblack boxes, making it possible to evaluate materials without understanding the contents. This is sufficient for routine work, but when conducting a more detailed study, it is necessary to understand the information that the diffraction peak means. Therefore, the author set up an experiment on the theme of "evaluation of ceramic materials using X-ray diffraction method" in advanced engineering course, and made students understand the X-ray diffraction method to evaluate ceramic materials. 続きを見る

概要: We suggest that UV appliedwastewaterand treated waterfor the experiments in sanitary engineeringof 4th grade studentin department of civil engineering.The safetymanagement was concerned for sanitary conditions. The results of water quality using some analyzers is not affected by UV radiation. The similar data were obtained at 7kinds of water quality analysis, when we used wastewaterand treated waterfrom the septic tank. However,thedifference ofCOD and NH4-Ndataused UV radiationwerea little higher as compared with wastewaterand treated water data. The method of explanation for using UV raditionhas to be improve.
