application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />The author presented an observation method based on an occupational frame of reference, observing a 19 year-old autistic child. The occupational frame of reference showed the uniqueness of the occupational intervention process. This frame of reference consists of occupational performance (self-care activities, work/study activities, and play/leisure time activities) and performance components (motor, … perceptual, cognitive, sensory, emotional, interpersonal). The author demonstrated how to use this frame of reference to observe the autistic child, including the weak points and strong points of the child.
