application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />This article reports that the results of questionnaire to the people in Gunma prefecture about media concerns and media use they are doing in everyday life. The main items of questionnaire are as follows, 1. Characteristics of the main mass media that people use in ereryday life and the effectiveness of those media, 2. Information cnvironment and media literacy, 3. Expectations and anxeties in the … coming multimedia age. One of the main results of this survey is shown below. L. Three of the most useful media in everyday life that people pointed out were the newspapers, television, and telephone. 2. The rate of possession of a TV was 100%, those of a wordprocessor was about 30%, and those of a computer was 7%. 3. In the coming multimedia age, they eagerly hope that they would like to use easily the medical and welfare services by computer mediated communicatuins. But, the other hand, they are anxious about the over-flows of information and the computer crimes. 続きを見る
