- 概要:
- application/pdf
Departmental Bulletin Paper
Histones and protamines behaved as a monomeric form in 0.9M acetic acid. When gel electrophoresis was carried out in 0.9M acetic acid, the mobilities of calf H2A, H2B, H3 and H4 histones were decreased proportionaly to the helix content of the histones but the mobilities of calf H1 histone and fish protamines were not decreased by the addition of 6mM nonionic surfactant into the gel. Degree of the … decreasing on the mobilities of four histones was also proportional to the molecular weight of the added nonionic surfactant. Structure of hydrophobic group of the surfactants was more affective than polyoxyethylene chain length of the surfactants. H2B, H3 and H4 histones aggregated in 0.05-0.1M sodium phosphate buffer, pH 7.0, while H1 and H2A histones behaved as a monomeric form. Nonionic surfactants bound to H2A histone but did not to H1 histone and to the aggregates of other histones in the buffer. 続きを見る
