概要: Journal Article<br />Background& Aims:Immediately after undergoing breast cancer surgery,patients may usually have some psychological and physiological distress. Autogenic training(AT)is a complementary medicine and self-relaxation technique to relieve anxiety in patients. The aim of the study is to investigate the impact of AT on perioperative anxiety and pain in patients with breast cancer. Methods:Between July 2010 and March 2012,60 patients who were diagnosed with breast cancer and scheduled for surgery were randomly assigned to the AT group or the control group. In the AT group,patients underwent 20 min of AT,three times a day within 3 days after surgery,and the control group received the usual care. The assessment was done based on the State Anxiety Inventory,Visual Analogue Pain Scale,heart rate variability, and analgesic requirement. Results:The AT group had a significantly decreased anxiety score during postoperative three days. Postoperative pain score was also significantly decreased,despite the fact that the two groups had received an equivalent amount of analgesics. No statistically significant difference was observed between the groups in their analgesic requirement. Conclusion:AT may be a useful non-pharmacological approach for relieving anxiety and pain immediately after breast cancer surgery. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Journal Article<br />Background & Aims : Evaluation of the extent of breast cancer lesions is important for selecting the\nappropriate surgical procedure or to determine the surgical margin. We aimed to assess the diagnostic\naccuracy of nipple-centered radiate multiplanar reconstruction (NRMPR)images using multidetector row\nhelical computed tomography (MDCT), comparing it with conventional mammography. M ethods :\nOur subjects were 26 breast cancer patients with a total of 29 lesions who sequentially received contrastenhanced\nMDCT imaging for preoperative evaluation. We measured the maximum diameter of the\nbreast cancer in the direction toward the nipple on NRMPR images and mammography. All data were\ncorrelated with histopathological mapping of the specimens. Results : The tumor extent measured on\nNRMPR images and in pathological examinations ranged from 12.4 to 66.0mm (average, 28.0mm) and\n10 to 70mm (average, 27.9 mm), respectively. The correlation coefficient of the two measurements was\n0.898. On mammography, two lesions were not clearly identified. The correlation coefficient of\nmammography and pathological measurements was 0.554. Conclusions : The addition of NRMPR\nimages to mammography provides more information to evaluate breast cancer extension toward the\nnipple. Potentially, it provides a clue for selecting the appropriate surgical procedure or surgical\nresection margin for breast cancer. 続きを見る
