概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />学生のコミュニケーションスキルの理解と習得を促すために,講義による理論と臨地実習での体験を組み合わせ指導を行った。その効果を把握する 目的で本研究を実施した。1年次のプロセスレコードを分析した結果,用いられていたコミュニケーションスキルは,閉鎖的な質問と反射的に投げ返すの2種類が多くを占めた。2年次のプロセスレコードを分析した結果では,閉鎖的な質問と反射的に投げ返すの2種類に加えて,誘導的な質問言外の意味を言語化するというスキルを用いることができていた。さらに3~4種類の技法を用いてコミュニケーションを行っており,指導効果が認められた。 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />日々さまざまなストレスがかかっていると思われる看護学生への援助に役立てることを目的として,現在の学生のストレス状況とその性格傾向につ いて看護学生に調査を行った。調査はストレス症状質問紙(SCL-S),日本版モーズレイ性格検査(MPI)を施行した。その結果,調査した学生の3分の2がストレス状態と判定されるということが明らかになった。また,性格傾向とストレスの表されやすさに関連があることが示唆された。今回の調査で,ストレスを感じている学生をケアし,さらにそれに対する対処法を身につけさせるような援助を行っていくためには,学生が具体的にどのようなことをストレス源と感じ,どのような反応を示しているかについて今後詳しく調べる必要がある。 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />We have made a survey of differences in pain observation between Japanese nurses and American nurses according to published literature. We also looked at influence of nurses' career on their ability of pain observation. As the result of this survey, we have made the following conclusions. 1. There were certain differences between Japanese nurses and American nurses on the identification of pain location, the assessment of pain and the understanding of pain. 2. The responsibility for pain control is laid on doctors and nurses in Japan, while it is laid on patients as well as doctors and nurses in America. 3. As for the relevance of Nurses' experience to their ability of pain observation, the nurses with more than ten years of experience have more appropriate pain observation ability than the nurses with less than ten years of experience. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />As the third parts of our longitudinal study, this year again we made a follow up survey of stressors on Nurses. The results were compared with those of the first and second surveys and analyzed. According to the analysis, we made the following conclusions. 1) The results of the third year study were generally similar, to those of the previous two years: The stressors on nursing skills were found to decrease, on the contrary, the stressors on interpersonal relationships and environment of working places were found to increase. 2) Observing the results of this three-year longitudinal study, we also found a new tendency: in the higher stress-score group (over mean), the stress was rising every year, whereas in the lower stress-score group (under mean), the stress was descending every year. 3) The fluctuation of these stresses were related to nurses' sensitivities, as well as the stressors caused by environment of working places, unmastered nursing skills, nursing team conditions, nurses' lotations and doctors' attitudes for the treatment of their patients. 4) Considering these facts, it is necessary to make some considerations for the nurses who are identified to have stress conditions by the stress measurement scale gain high stress scores. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />As the second part of our longitudinal study, this year we made a follow-up survey of stressors on new graduate nurses. The results were compared with those of the first year survey and analyzed. According to the analysis, we made the following conclusions. 1) The results of the second year study were similar to those of the first year study. 2) However, on responses for stressors on nursing skills, interpersonal relationships and environment of working places, there were remarkable differences between the results of second year study and those of the first year study. 3) As a result we could find the following tendencies: the stresses on nursing skils tend to decrease and on the contrary the stresses on interpersonal relationships tend to increase from those of the first year. We assume the tendencies mean that the new challenge for second year nurses is to adapt to the stresss on interpersonal relatinonships after fullfilment of nursing skills. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />In our last study about stressors in nursing situations, we realized the necessity of longterm observation in order to identify the relationships between stressors and stresses on nurses. This time we have planned a longtudinal study about relationships between stressors and stresses on new graduate nurses over a five year period and this year is the first year of this project. As a result of this study, we made the following conclusions. 1) Most of new graduate nurses realized various stresses and one third of them experienced unmanageable stresses. And these stresses were caused by stressors related to nursing skills rather than those related to their nursing fellow members, working situations and patients. Therefore mastering of nursing skills is considered to be a big problem for new graduate nurses to adjust themselves to their working places. 2) On the other hand, most of them thought their head nurses were understanding. They also thought doctors working with them understood their nursing. Further they thought their teamwork were kept well in their working places. 3) New graduate nurses showed various stress symptoms such as absentmindedness and two thirds of them were under stress conditions. However they acheived good adjustment in their working places of such conditons. This was considered to be possible because of their satisfaction with their nursing situations. 4) Comparing responses between stress type A group and nonstoress type A group, there were differences of responses to stressors. However these results should be carefully assessed looking at further longitudinal study of this project. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />We have been inteterested in stressors nurses experience in nursing situations. And fortunately we could investigate stressors of 779 nurses who are working in 5 public hospitals in Gunma prefecture. As a result of this study, we made the following conclusions. 1) In nursing situations almost all nurses were encountered with various stressors. 2) Major stressors were those from their relationships with doctors, fellow nurses, supervisors, patients and their families. Furthermore, it was found that these stressors were caused by such busy activities that they couldn't look back themselves. They also worry about their own nursing skills, handling skills of medical electronics and rotations of ward assignments. 3) However, in spite of these stressors, almost all nurses were well adjusted to their working places. Most of them expected to be able to get collaborations from their fellows and supervisors when they confronted with their difficulties. They also stated that they were willing to do their responsibilities. And these positive attitudes of nurses seemed to be enhancing their good adjustment to their working places. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />The protective effects of wearing masks on pollens of Japanese cedar were investigated in 27 patients with Japanese cedar pollinosis. In 85% of patients, nasal symptoms slightly or moderately decreased after wearing masks. The improvement was manifested in nasal discharge and sneezeing, and but not in nasal obstruction. Conjunctival symptoms also improved in some cases. These results suggest that mask-wearing is of some value in the prevention of Japanese cedar pollinosis. 続きを見る

概要: application/pdf<br />Departmental Bulletin Paper<br />We have observed the students' attitudes in psychiatric nursing practice by using a questionnaire. This questionnaire was composed of 31 items so that we could investigate how the changes of students' attitudes in psychiatric nursing practice occur. Therefore in this questionnaire all students were asked to respond concerning various aspects of psychiatric nursing such as communication with patients, understanding of patients' diseases, nursing care plans, assesment of patients' problems, their own feelings to patients and so on. As a result of this observation, we have got the following conclusions, 1. We could see a unanimous tendency in the changes of students' attitudes. 2. They all emphasized understanding of patients, communication with patients, assessment of patients' problems and nursing care plans as the most important aspects of psychiatric nursing. 3. However, the students' responses indicated some difficulties for them to realize those aspects in real settings. Therefore students need good support from their instructors when they encounter such difficulties. 4. We could also find all of students had negative feelings like fear, hesitance and horror before practice. However these feelings were not so strong as we were worried and they were cleared in their practicing. 5. However we had to consider in seeing these results there were remarkable influences from wardsettings where students were assigned. 続きを見る
